It is our desire for you to join us on mission for the glory of Jesus, our joy, and other’s good.

We believe the members of North Church are vitally important, because it is through the church’s members that the bulk of the mission to which God calls North Church is accomplished.

If the Lord is leading you to North Church, we invite you to consider our membership process:

1. Profess personal faith in Jesus Christ and have participated in a believer’s baptism

       2. Complete “Disciple Start” Class (soon to be "Life on the Hill" class)

This 4 week, 1.5 hour class is held several times throughout the year. It is an introduction to discuss what it means to be a disciple and follower of Jesus (as revealed in the Bible).  This is the first step in getting connected to North Church. All are welcome to attend, whether you are pursuing formal membership or not.  This is also an opportunity to meet leadership and others at the church as well as learn about opportunities to connect through community groups and serving. You can register for a class here.

       3. Steward your resources of time, talents, and treasure through regular financial giving, service, and participation in community.

Complete our member handout indicating obedience in service, community, and giving. Bring the completed handout to your welcome meeting with a pastor or elder.

A community group is a small group setting where we are intentional about pursuing each other towards being faithful disciples, missionaries, and family. Additional information about community groups can be found here.

As members of God’s household, we are called to function, participate, and minister in a particular place within the body of Christ.  For information on ways you can serve within the church, click here.

Members should give cheerfully as Jesus exhorts us in 2 Corinthians 9:7 -  Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Click here to give to North Church.

       4. Attend a personal welcome meeting with an elder or pastor and sign the membership covenant. Click here to see the covenant.

As the last step of the membership process, a leader will meet with you to welcome you and to discuss the meaning of membership.  You will sign the membership covenant and provide your member handout.   This is a great opportunity for the church leadership to answer any questions you may have.

Annually, members may be asked to check-in and confirm your desire to continue to be a member at North Church. We desire that our membership is active and vibrant.  Please be looking for church-wide communication about confirmations.

Non-Members of North Church are welcome to share in fellowship, worship, and serve in certain capacities within the church, but are not eligible to serve in positions of church leadership.

For additional information on membership, please see the North Church bylaws.
